Fun Party Games for Large Groups

Looking for new games to play with a large group? You came to the right place! Jackbox Games has tons of hilarious and remarkably fun games that support up to 10,000 people! They can be played in-person or online on all major digital platforms, including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and more!

Jackbox Games are easy to play with friends and family - just make sure everyone can see the TV or screen where the game was launched and then all of the players in your group use their phones as controllers to play. Plus, only one member of your group needs to own a title to launch the game! We have a helpful video tutorial and step-by-step instructions for how to connect all of your players to the game here.

Large Groups Will Love These Party Games:

#1 - The Quiplash Series

Quiplash

  • Player Count: 3-8 Players
  • Audience Size Limit: 10,000 Players

In Quiplash, there are no rules or correct answers. You just say whatever you want! Your answer will be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head battle. Other players – and even an audience of up to 10,000 people – then vote on their favorite answer. It’s that simple!

And yes, you read that right: while the game is for 3-8 players, it supports up to 10,000 active participants in the Audience, all of whom have the ability to affect the vote! More than 8 people at your party? Nobody has to sit out. Playing on a stream? Your viewers can join in and participate in the game.

You’ll know you’re playing Quiplash when you type something like “unicorn farts” on your phone, and it carries you to victory!

Quiplash 3 is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 7 and The Jackbox Party Starter and the original Quiplash is available as its own standalone game for under $10!

#2 - Trivia Murder Party 2

Trivia Murder Party 2

  • Player Count: 1-8 Players
  • Audience Size Limit: 10,000 Players

Players answer trivia questions and answering incorrectly will send you to the Killing Floor, to play mini-games that can kill. New mini-games include avoiding swords stabbed into a magician’s box, tattooing the killer’s back and most terrifying of all… using a rotary phone!

Still on the run from the police after the events of the first Trivia Murder Party, the serial killer host has moved into the Murder Hotel where he grew up. In the past his family killed unsuspecting guests at their hotel, but now the Host is using the hotel to run his bizarre game show… where he kills unsuspecting guests.

Trivia Murder Party 2 is packed full of new surprises. Can you finish the game with a bomb strapped to your body? What would you do if you could haunt one of the other players? Would it be weird if the killer thought you were his mother?

Check in to the Murder Hotel to find out.

Trivia Murder Party 2 is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 6 and The Jackbox Party Starter.

#3 - Timejinx

Timejinx

  • Player Count: 1-8 Players
  • Audience Size Limit: 10,000 Players

In Timejinx you play the role of a time traveler who meets up with their ragtag group of friends for trivia night at the residence of our acerbic host, Jerri Rig.

In each round you are tasked with traveling to certain years when important, or not so important, events took place. Your goal is to land as close to the correct year as possible; the farther you’re off on the timeline, the higher your score gets. And in this game, high scores are bad!

Fortunately, there are a series of side missions you’ll go on that can help reduce your score. These include:

Blending into random parties from different decades Navigating your way through a time loop Saving a real historical figure from their evil imposter Identifying locations in an alternate timeline Fixing the absurd butterfly effect you’ve caused

The game ends with one final task that sends you on a high-stakes mission into the distant future!

Can you handle the year pressure?

Timejinx is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 10.

#4 - Lie Swatter

Lie Swatter

  • Player Count: 1-100 Players

In Lie Swatter, players are given a fact and must quickly decide if it’s True or a Lie. Get it wrong and the bug gets squashed! But get it right…and the bug also gets squashed, but you get points. Up to 100 players can drop in and out at any time, even after the game has already started.

Lie Swatter is the perfect game to play if you need a good random fact to have in your back pocket for cocktail parties, or you just hate bugs.

Lie Swatter is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 1.

#5 - Bracketeering

Bracketeering

  • Player Count: 3-16 Players
  • Audience Size Limit: 10,000 Players

In Bracketeering, players submit answers to bizarre questions and categories like “Best thing to hold in your online dating profile picture” or “Coolest person to clone an army of.” Those answers then duke it out in a tournament-style instant-elimination bracket, until the championship answer is crowned.

It’s not only about entering funny answers. It’s about discovering earth-shattering truths about what your friends and fellow players believe to be true. Predicting winners of future match-ups (and convincing others to agree with you) could be your path to victory, even if an answer you typed in doesn’t take the top prize.

But things really get cooking in the Blind Round, where players submit their entries before they know the true title of the bracket. The game might ask you for “any animal,” but you could regret choosing “baby hedgehog” when the category is revealed to be “Awesomest animal to guard your children.” Whether your answer fits perfectly or is hilariously mischosen, you can still win it all with savvy predictions and a convincing argument. Even if it means betting against yourself.

Bracketeering is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 4.
