Play Jackbox Games at Your Next Work Happy Hour or Event
If you’re not playing Jackbox Games at your work happy hour, is it truly an hour of happiness? Yes, our games provide merriment and revelry amongst friends and family, but did you know that they also double as killer team-building activities at work? Or, at the very least, a structured social activity that can cut through the tension of awkward small talk. You’ll never have to hear about Jim’s root canal debacle again!
If you’re already the boss (literally, not figuratively) give one of our Party Packs a whirl on a Friday afternoon. If you’re not in charge, (and really, none of us are in this rat race we call existence) become everyone’s new favorite coworker when you buy one of our packs on sale as a gift for the office.
A few things to consider before you get a game going:
- Our handy, dandy “How to Play” video will take some of the burden off of you explaining how to get started.
- Some offices have firewalls that block Jackbox.tv, the page that players will need to open in their browser in order to connect to the game. Test this ahead of time and if possible, have a wifi hotspot ready to use as a backup. Then immediately apply for a cooler job where they allow our games.
- Jim might use the user-generated content opportunities to mention his root canal debacle again. This can’t be avoided, but you can send a subtle message by not voting for his answers.
- Many of our recent games have Family Friendly settings that you can turn on in the game’s lobby menu before starting. This is HIGHLY recommended for an office environment! Unless you are an agent of complete and utter chaos.
